Low voltage

Low Voltage and Structured Cabling

Commercial low voltage cabling for offices, retail, medical, manufacturing, warehouses and institutional spaces across Vermont, from new construction and fit-ups to retrofits and cleanup work.

Scope

What we install

If it carries data, video or sound through a commercial building, it is on this list.

Copper cabling

Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A for data and voice. Drops are terminated, tested, labeled and documented.

Fiber

Backbone and horizontal fiber pulls, termination coordination and testing support for buildings that need more than copper.

Coax and TV

RG6 coax for TV distribution, including difficult pulls in finished spaces.

Racks and pathway

Patch panels, rack builds, rack cleanup, cable tray, J-hooks and pathway work built for serviceability.

AV, cameras and mounting

Conference room cabling, display runs, speaker runs and camera cabling with clean concealment. Large-format displays and heavy wall cabinets mounted right, including metal-stud and Unistrut-backed installs.

Wireless

Access point cabling and mounting for offices, retail sites and full-coverage WiFi deployments.

Cable remediation

Inherited a messy closet or undocumented cabling plant? We clean up, re-terminate, label and document existing infrastructure.

Testing and documentation

Every install is tested and labeled, with turnover documentation for your IT team, project manager or client.

For general contractors

How we work with GCs and project teams

HB Solutions can sub low voltage scopes directly, support telecom vendors or work under your project manager. However the job is structured, it runs the same way: clean scope, clean work, clean closeout.

  1. Bid.

Send plans, photos or a scope outline. We return clear pricing, assumptions and exclusions.

  2. Walkthrough.

Site walk to confirm pathways, counts, ceiling conditions, demarc location and access constraints before work starts.

  3. Rough-in and pull.

Coordinated around the project schedule and other trades, with updates when field conditions change.

  4. Trim, terminate and test.

Drops are landed, labeled and tested before turnover.

  5. Turnover.

Closeout notes, photos and test documentation delivered for your records or your client.
